Foxy!

I finally popped for this Finnish blue fox coat this week. I've been eying it since July. Thankfully it was in a shop that does not attract fur coat shoppers. The workmanship is amazing. It's in great condition. Did you know my Grandpa was a furrier? Grunstein Couture has become Gemmi. Generally, when I see a website full of expensive photos, and no price tags, I'm scared to ask the price. My price for this one is $650. A word on fur: if you buy it second hand, you're not really supporting the industry, but you are preserving what's already been done. Ok, I'll never get political on my blog again. I promise. This coat will make its debut at 1 Hanson Pl. on 1/22/10.
