Picking

I'm a little spiteful about this new show, "Pickers," that everyone is talking about. I've been saying there ought to be a TV show about me, and antiques and flea markets, for, I don't know, 10 years now! I want to be a star. Instead, I'll write a blog. So, this is what happens when a girl gets in her outback and hits the shops. It starts snowing heavily, instead of the predicted dusting. I visit stores with funny names like Saks Thrift Avenue, Days Gone By, Antiques Etc, and Lost Treasures. All the shop owners know me by name and save stuff for me. Except for Sak's. They're new. And greeeeeen. That's a Juliana bracelet, the sparkly one on bottom, above my new snow suit. I've been in the market for a pair of overalls like those for a while, so I picked them up for me. There's another pair there, if anyone wants them. They have nice hoods. I'll gladly run back and round up the other pair for any of my blog readers for the nominal fee of $40. I actually bought about 70 pounds of costume jewelry today. I was serious about restocking after 3 killer weekends at the bank. The jewelry will be all photographed and blogged before my next trip to Brooklyn. I'm taking this week off. Email for first crack at the drafting table. I'm thinking $90. I'm going to spend all weekend picking. I know, I know, it's a shame I don't have a camera crew following me around.
