On the left we have an antique heart locket that I brought to the Brooklyn Flea every weekend for 6 weeks. I was asking $65. It’s antique, gold filled, larger than most (1 1/2” tall), with an antique gold filled chain. I knew all along that eBay is the place to sell lockets, but I aim to please, and my girls love lockets so I try to have a good selection. I never budge on my prices for antique lockets. They are too hard to find. I like to rotate my selection, so I pulled the heart locket and listed it on ebay. It went for $310. I guess I was right about the size being rare. It could have been yours, ladies of Brooklyn…
The antique 9K gold padlock bracelet is on ebay now. These sell for between $400 and $800. The opening bid on mine is $300. The gold would scrap for $200, but I would never ever ever scrap this bracelet. I draw the line somewhere. These bracelets are rare, and amazing. You should bid.

I love these lockets too. It is especially a treat to find them with an old photo inside:)
Update: The bidder was even happy with the locket. I was convinced I must have misrepresented it and said something to make the public think it was way better than it actually was. Nope, it was just a really good locket. So that sold for $310. The high bidder on the bracelet said she lost her job and had to reneg. It astounds me how difficult it is to sell real gold jewelry lately. It will be in my case at 1 Hanson next week.
